Liberate your mind.

Disturbed's follow up to the excellent 'The Sickness'. While nowhere near as heavy or as good as The Sickness, this is still a great album and worthy of a place in your collection.
It doesn't have the 'raw' feel of The Sickness, feels much more polished and studio perfected which could be argued is to it's detriment.
David Draiman is his amazing self. I could listen to that guys voice all day long.
Standout tracks for me were Prayer, Liberate and Rise.
It may take a few listens before this albums opens up for you, but it is well worth the effort; especially if you liked The Sickness.

One of my favourite albums, a must buy for any disturbed fan. Darkness is a surprise at the end having listened to the rest of the album but is a really good track

How you could live without this album in your collection i do not know, it is a real eye opener to anyone who wants to get into the band. There aren't a lot of solos in this album but to me what makes up an album is the lyrics and the change of rhythm. Each song shows a different kind of rhythm from the hollering "liberate" to the soft and well thought out "darkness". This is one album i'll never get tired of. Buy it now!!!!!!

This is a great follow up album to 'The Sickness' from Disturbed. Not as heavy as 'The Sickness' but its definatly metal. David Dremain's vocals are excellent in every track as are the catchy guitar riffs - espicially in 'Remember'.
'Prayer' - One of my favourite songs EVER. I just cant get enough of this track. It has great lyrics and awesome guitar. Great opener to the album. 5/5
'Liberate' - Very good track with more good vocals and definatly one to be played loud. 4/5
'Awaken' - Excellent track that is classic Disturbed. Great catchy chorus. 5/5
'Believe' - The title track is a tad slower than the others but still does a great job 4/5
'Remember' - Another one of my favourite tracks, and as I said earlier has a great guitar riff. 5/5
'Intoxication' - The album is still strong as it gets on and this song is a classic example. It's not as good the first few listens and you have to get used to it. 4/5
'Rise' - Another song that you have to listen a few times before it sounds good. 4/5
'Mistress' - Good song with more great vocals from Dremain. 4/5
'Breathe' - The first meh song on the album. It has the chance to be a great track but just falls short. 3/5
'Bound' - Very good track that takes quite a few listens to get into but then you can see its a great song to sing along to. Good drums too. 4/5
'Devour' - An OK track that is probably a filler, but as its Disturbed its still pretty good. 3/5
'Darkness' - Not usualy Disturbed. A very slow track that doesn't really suit them. I don't listen to this much. 2/5
All in all, this album is definatly worth a buy. Maybe not as good as 'The Sickness' and 'Ten Thousand Fists' but still very good. Some of the tracks are so close to getting 5/5 instead of 4, but as they don't, the album only gets 4.
