They HAVE BEEN always a great boyband - whatever you call them now, a boyband or a manband, they always do their best to bring their loyal fans the best bits of their exceptional music perception!!!!!!
Star songs: What do you want from me, the flood, SOS, and... the rest of the album :D

Have to say this album is brilliant. If you can't try something different during such a huge change then when can you? Love all the tracks.
Had to also reply to Rednap, Eight Letters was actually written by Robbie, so you shot yourself in the foot there a little bit! If you don't believe me, watch the documentary!!

Why did Gary, Jason, Mark and Howard let Robbie come back? They were doing absolutely brilliant without him, I had to check my cd player as I thought I had put Robbies Rudebox album in. I have been a take that fan since the beginning and I am really disappointed with this album. Only song worth listening to is Eight Letters as that is a true Take That song sung by the brilliant Gary Barlow. Why let Robbie sing 6 out of the 10 songs? Its an album by Take That not a Robbie Williams solo album

What can I say! This is an excellent album. I have always loved Take That so much and even though this is different to the other albums it is still awesome :-)

Can only agree with the other reviewer here and all the positive reviews in the press. A great contemporary album, these guys have grown and matured as artists and have benefited from the return of Robbie Williams. This will become a classic album.

Amazing Album - The future is here
Posted by Play.com Reviewer, 12/11/2010 10:18:47
Hiya, I always listen to Take That as I think from the boyband days they have really progressed and there music is so much better now. So I managed to hear this album before its release and I think it is fantastic. It is completley different to Beautiful World and The Circus.
It has a futuristic sound to it, which i absolutely love. Could actually see it featuring in Apocalyptic types of films as this is an album that is styling the future of our music.
While I have seen some reviews from the media say that it is a fantastic album but they miss the cheeriness of Take That, I would say this adds a whole new dimension to a band that move with the times, create the times. And are still around in these ever changing times because they are one of a kind.
This is my favourite album by them and not because Robbie is back in the band 4 piece or 5 piece they will always remain the greatest man bad of our time.
Songs that stick in my head are SOS, Pretty Little Things, Underground MAchine, Kidz and Wait. But these change on a daily basis.
Its a grower of an album as the first two times i heard it I thought it was interesting and different. Now I think it is an intellegent album.
Parts of it sound 80's (which i love) but with a modern twist.
And the Bonus song at the end 'Flower Bed' if ou leave it on past the last track is beautiful. I think Jason sings it and the guy who always remains in the shadows still has one of the most beautiful voices I have heard.
Well done guys, album of the year for me and a must buy!!!
