Self-indulgent ramblings ruin album

I'll divide this review into two parts, for the CD and DVD portion respectively.
First, the CD. Tracks 1-8 are from a live show, granted, but were arranged and edited, so they're not flowing into the next song. Which is ironic, as the band claim the cd is "unedited". The other tracks are new or unrealesed new tracks, which are actually pretty good. However, if they're on the upcoming new album, just wait for that.
Now, the DVD part. Oh my god, it's the biggest load of self-indulgent, hypocritical, narcissitic rubbish ever....and I'm a massive fan of the band. It was originally billed as "10 years worth of videos and touring" so, I was thinking they'd have the videos from Broke and self-titled, like "Ground", "Killing Time" and "Bartender" but all you get is the 3 latest vids (Suffa, Represent and Get Ready). What makes it hypocritical is the album/dvd is billed as unedited and uncensored, yet it's the tamer version of Represent?!? So bit of a let-down there.
The 57min. long feature is awful. It's the live show that makes the bulk of the CD, interspersed with random "so painfully obvious they're set up" skits and Jahred (the frontman) talking absolute rubbish whilst getting high. Unsubstansiated views on government, Bush, "conspiracy theories" just make no sense.
I know the band aren't wholly popular and I normally maintain how good they are, but even I found this bad.
If you're a fan, ignore this, and wait for the new album. Let's hope they redeem themselves on that.
