This CD was just like hopping into the TARDIS itself

The most absoloutely brilliant soundtrack CD I have ever bought! Just listening to it was a time travel experience in itself. Running down Westminister Bridge, the Slitheen ship crashing into Big Ben, The Christmas Invasion, the Daleks and Cybermen, Werewolf from Tooth and Claw and even the Battle of the Canary Wharf where we all had our hearts broken when Rose got trapped in the parallel world- this CD made me revisit them all. It was like watching the episodes all over again! Seriously though, until you have heard the Doctor Who soundtracks. you don't know how much of an important part that the music plays in the series and how it makes you feel excited, scared and sad all at the same time. This CD really gives you a real taste of the genius that is BBC Wales and everyone who works so hard to produce such an amazing TV programme. Buy buy buy!!!

this is just the best! my kids have insisted on listening to it in the car for the last year and i'm still not fed up with it. the tunes are so catchy and you can sing along with (or without) them.Doomsday , with its twangy guitar and the double bass is so haunting, my fave bit of music of all time, and the kids love song for ten. It's much more catchy and memorable than the new one, hopefully that one will grow on me soon. Buy this one you wont regret it!

This soundtrack is excellent, and one of the best i own, i love Tooth and Claw and the Cybermen theme. But better than this is only one soundtrack: the Dr Who Series 3 Soundtrack. That is the best soundtrack ever!

One of the best soundtracks in ages...

Through and through this album doesn't disappoint. With definitely recognisable themes all the way through, the variety of music on the album is immense. With almost every piece from the new series on there, you're bound to recognise something...

Best Soundtrack Ever?
Posted by Play.com Reviewer, 04/07/2007 13:07:31
I think this is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. Its also great value for money considering the amount of tracks on it and there are so many great songs, my personal favorite is Doomsday its a very haunting track which captured the emotion of the scene in the series so well. But for a song you could just listen to and enjoy Cybermen or Westminster Bridge are both really fast and exciting tracks, just brilliant.

'I'm coming to get you' - sends shivers down my spine everytime I hear it. It was at that moment back in 2005 that I finally punched the air and yelled 'Yes! Dr.Who is back'!!
