Great song for long walks.....
Posted by Play.com Reviewer, 01/12/2011 10:44:09
Everyday I have to walk over 4 miles back home from school and I have to say this song is a great thing to such long walks. It lets you imagine places while you walk and make you very relaxed. I love Mike Shenoda and linking park but this is great to hear.

I've got to be honest i dont like rap/hip hop at all and the only reason i found this album was because of linkin park's mike shinoda. I listened to some of there songs and i thought they were good so i bought the album. It is amazing, you have to buy it.

It Will Bring Back The Faith In Hip/Hop!
Posted by Play.com Reviewer, 29/12/2008 21:48:48
I used to be a big fan of Rap & Hip/Hop but in the last 8 years it has lost its way. With peope such as 50Cent and Soulja Boy destroying the ears of people today and nobody able to reach the heights of real rappers such as Dr. Dre, I converted over to softer rock music. But not a month ago I put in an old Linkin Park cd of mine and realised that after listening to the song Hands Held High how great it would be if Mike Shinoda had his own music. Little did I know he did and it was in the shape of Fort Minor, probably the greatest rap tunes I have ever heard. His lyrics arn't based around money and drugs and have a meaning behind it. I recomend this not only to Linkin Park fans, but people who thought rap was dead!

One of the best albums ever in my opinion.
All the songs provide satisfaction
And just to let you know Kenji just doesnt tell the story of a japense family during WW2 it tells the story of Mike Shinoda's family.

Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda at his best!
I could never put into words how good this album is, not only are the songs extremely original, but in-keeping with Linkin Park's trend, every song on the album is the best; Whether you like a fast beat underground hip-hop song or a slower one.
Shinoda teams up with Styles of Beyond in a few songs, one being their single "Remember The Name" and pull off some GREAT songs. He has also included several personal songs of his family's history.
All in all a FANTASTIC underground hip-hop album. I reccomend buying the special edition because the bonus songs are well worth it!

Would definately recommend this album, i'd heard a few of their tracks before getting the album and it really doesn't disappoint is a breath of fresh air, something that bit different from stuff out there and great lyrics as mentioned in the previous review.

I got this album only because I'm a fan of Linkin Park and wanted to see what Mike Shinoda's side project was like. I have to say, it's actually quite good. the lyrics are exellent and well thought out and most of the songs fill you with adrenaline. The best song on the album in my opinion is Red to Black.
