This is a really good album with a load of great songs! Has a really fresh and energetic feel! Some of the guitar play in this is great and the vocals are good too! I rarely buy CDs but this one I couldnt resist!!! Great CD; my favourite songs on it are Joker and the Thief, Apple Tree and Mind's Eye!

Got all of the best bits of sounds such as Black Sabbath and the like but modern. All of the tracks are brilliant, this album came out of the car with me, into work, back in the car and then into the house for the at least 2 months! I couldn't stop listening to it, Brilliant. Stand out track for me - The Joker and the Thief. Can't wait for their second album.

I really enjoyed this album. There are some really great tracks on here like Apple Tree and Woman and it definitely is one of the best rock albums from the last 5 years.

This album is good 70's rock music brought to life in the 21st century. Excellentt guitar riffs that get you bouncing in your seat. Favorite tracks have got to be 'Joker and the theif' - which starts of with a kind of psychadelic guitar riff then heavy drums, it almost sends you into a trance then it stops and a clunky almost robotic rock, heavy distortion guitar kicks in! 'Mind's Eye' - which starts very mellow with an eary organ playing and soft guitar.. the track proceeds quiet and mellow then half way through it livens up with a quirky keyboard solo that really makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up! 'Woman' - this track reminds me very much of Jimmi Hendrix, excellent catchy song, one you'll have stuck in your head all day!
Everytrack on the album has an almost robotic rock feeling, makes you want to jump around and play air guitar! Great Album, I was truely suprised - these guys are awesome! BUY IT and experience it

Album of the year!

how can people be bothering saying 'this album is a bore' did you make the mistake of putting a AFI album in? this is one amazing album. you get so much power when you are provided with riff after riff after riff! each song is unique to its own and each is as catchy as the last!
the superb vocal skills that Andrew Stockdale brings to the band is a true joy to listen to! Wolfmother bring back the great sounds of the good old days of the 70's and if your into Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and other similar bands, Wolfmother manages to combine the greatness of all of them into one furious rock album!!
Absolutely love it!

Was reccomended this album by friend and was very impressed. Although there is`nt a great variety (of styles) amongst the tracks they still managed to hold my attention.
Lots of Led Zep influence and also the White Stripes, especially in the vocals. Fav track was Joker and the Thief.
Would encourage fans of indie and rock to give this album a listen. You won`t be disappointed!

This album has a great set of songs here, the whole album has an 80s feel to it but it still manages to stay modern. Don't know how they do it but it is just right to entice youngsters and older folk too.
This album is no where near boring, I can understand why some people may feel that way but you're not supposed to be bouncing to this one it isn't ska music or poppy franz ferdinand this is Rock with a capital R.
So if your into Led Zepplin, Sabbath or any of the bands that defined rock. Give this a try and get your head out of the past and into Wolfmother :)
